QUAILTY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

 

MIDLANDS

Purpose of Job: Responsible for providing quality engineering support for processes, materials, and products. Assures that quality standards are maintained and Assist with the implementation and compliance of the quality management program. Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, quality systems, and FDA regulations.

Main Role & Responsibilities:

Supplier facing
• Completes new supplier evaluation and qualification
• Liaises with supplier to ensure drawings and specifications are clear, understood and fully compliant.
• Work with our suppliers on identifying and effectively implementing SCARs (supplier correction action requests).
• Review and analyze material and product non-conformance data in order to determine key opportunities of improvement.
• Complete vendor audits
• Work with Engineering, R and D and materials in identifying new material which can help develop our competitive advantage or improve our business model.
Product / Process development
• Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering on the drafting and implementation of validation process
