Our client a large financial insitution in Dublin City Centre has a great opportunity to join their Strategic credit analysis team on a 12 month contract
Our client a large financial insitution in Dublin City Centre has a great opportunity to join their Strategic credit analysis team on a 12 month contract
Purpose of thie position: - To support the delivery of the Provisioning plan/reforecasts & Stress Tests
- Ensure proper governance & controls are in place over accuracy of forecasts/Stress Test calculations
- Ability to analyse output by different portfolio, risk or business views
- Provide statistical insight into provisioning plans/reforecasts & stress tests
- To support the delivery of Peer Benchmarking/Comparative KPI exercises
- Help deliver reports which will enable identification and communication of key trends and issues
- Delivery output to tight deadlines and to the highest standards
- Manage and escalate issues and bring them to successful conclusion
- To maintain procedure notes and other documentation to support the provisioning process
- To support the delivery of IT Solutions for provisioning forecasting & Stress testing
- Provide cover for the Manager, Planning, Benchmarking & Stress Testing
- Undertake such special projects as arise from time to time
Experience Required: - Management Information experience
- Advanced software skills e.g. advanced Excel & Access (SAS, VBA desirable)
- Credit Risk experience advantageous but not essential
- Proven strong analytical skills re. complex information with evidence of good problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Quantitative primary degree advantageous
Other Requirements - Aptitude for logical problem solving and analytical reasoning
- Self starter with good interpersonal skills
- Good academic record
