JOB DESCRIPTION
HR Manager
Location: Wexford, Waterford, Kilkenny
Salary: 55 - 60k
HR Manager A dynamic Multinational organisation based in Wexford is currently seeking an experienced HR Professional to support the management team on driving the people development agenda.
Primary duties and responsibilities are as follows: - Provide HR advice and guidance to management and staff on matters of employment law, employee relations and industrial relations.
- Review HR policies and procedures on a regular basis to ensure compliance with legislation and changes within the business.
- Facilitate and roll out changes to company policy.
- Manage the Health and Safety process within the Company and ensure compliance with H&S regulations.
- Maintain the HR system and introduce changes where relevant.
- Manage relationships with union representatives.
- Provide support to the General Manager.
Skills/ Experience Required: - At least 5 years relevant HR experience ideally within a unionised environment.
- Working knowledge of Irish employment legislation, health and safety legislation.
- Third level HR/Business related qualification.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards).
- Fully competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
- Proactive, flexible and a team player.
- Exercise complete discretion in dealing with confidential information.
